Dahi tadka recipe | Dahi tikhari | Dahi ka tadka | Tadke wali dahi  an easy and simple flavored yoghurt-based curry recipe made by with creamy curd with garlic and spice based seasoning. it is an ideal curry recipe which can be easily served with any choice of flatbreads or even as raita with rice-based dishes. the recipe can be made with different types of curd with different types of consistency.

My family is huge fan of simple and easy recipes. it is not just because of the time it takes to prepare, but also the simplicity it carries with it. Always I prepare this in weekends. I always believe the best things come out of simple things. for instance, this recipe hardly takes minutes to prepare it, yet tastes so good with almost any flatbread or any type of rice variants. however, If you have some leftover yoghurt or do not have that energy to cook a full-fledged meal, dahi ka tadka is your go-to curry.

Course- Raita

Ingredients-

One cup curd

Salt to taste

1 tspn oil or desi ghee

½ tspn jeera

½ tson red chilli powder

1/3 haldi powder

Pinch of hing

One chopped green chilli

1 tspn chopped garlic

2 whole red chilli

Coriander leaves

Method-

Take a large bowl take 1 cup curd and add salt to taste.

whisk and mix well making sure the curd turns smooth texture. keep aside.

Take Tadka Pan heat 2 tbsp. ghee or oil now add 1/2 tsp cumin, ½ tsp mustard, 2 dried red chili and chopped garlic and green chili and sauté.

 

Splutter the tempering making sure to keep the flame on medium.

Turn off the flame and add ¼ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ¼ tsp turmeric and 1 tsp chili powder.

sauté until the spices turn aromatic, add pinch of hing.

Pour the tempering over curd and mix well.

also add 2 tbsp coriander and mix well-combining everything well.

finally, enjoy Dahi Tadka with roti, paratha or rice.
