Flax Seed (alsi) Ladoo Recipe is a super healthy, high protein recipe of sweetened energy balls that can be packed for your kids and hubby snack boxes or even had as a quick bite on the go when they are having a sugar craving or feeling low on energy.
Flax seeds make a perfect combination of Omega 3 and proteins packing these ladoos with a load of goodness. Great to carry for a boost of energy on a traveling, or even just to make and store at home. This recipe uses portions of jaggery and sugar both to sweeten the ladoos, but you could also use only jaggery and omit the sugar completely to make it even healthier for you and your family.
Serve : 12-15 laddus
1 cup Jaggery , crushed
1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
1 cup Flax seed ( Alsi )
1/2 cup badam crushed
2 tbspn kismis
1 tbspn desi ghee
If you want make this laddu with sugar
1 cup sugar powder
½ cup mawa
Take a pan and dry roast flex seed allow to cool and make a fine powder.
In other pan add the 1cup jaggery and half cup of water make jaggery syrup.
Take a large bowl, combine all of the ladoo ingredients powder, jiggery syrup, cardamom powder, flax seeds powder, and ghee.
Mix the all ingredients with the help of spoon . Keep mixing until you can make small size balls of the flax seed ladoos.
The heat in your hands will help all the ingredients to bind it together. So resist adding more ghee and add only if needed.
Roll them into small size balls with hands and the flax seed ladoos are ready. Store the ladoos an air tight container.
Serve the Flax Seed Ladoo as a Dessert for any festive occasion.
Note- You can add sugar powder and mawa for make this laddu.
Take a bowl add flex seed powder, sugar powder, cademom powder, desi ghee and mawa mix properly.
Make a small size laddu and store in air tight container.
