Today I am going to share very simple but very mouth-watering rice recipe. It is Garlic rice recipe. It is very simple but flavourful garlic rice which is goes well with any spicy curries. This makes a perfect lunch box recipe.

This dish is one of the best dish on my menu. This is one of the simplest flavourful rice preparation. I served with Dum Aloo gravy.

Preparation time- 5 min.

Cooking time- 10 min.

Serve- 2 person

Ingredients-

1 cup of basmati rice or any normal rice

1 tspn ghee or butter

2 tbspn chopped garlic

2 tbspn chopped onion

Salt to taste

Method-

  • Soak basmati rice or any type of rice for 30 min.
  • Take pan heat oil and fry garlic. Add chopped onions and sauté one min. or fry till some golden.

  • Add soaked rice and mix well.

  • Add 2 cup of water mix well and cover. Cook for 7-8 min.

  • After 7 min switch off the flame and keep aside for 5 min.

  • Add coriander leaves mix and serve hot.

  • Serve with any spicy curry and enjoy.
