Kachche kele ki sabji with mustard paste is one among the simplest and easy to make recipe. Banana is rich soaurce of iron. It’s making to mustard paste with garlic. It’s goes to very tasty with mustard paste. This dish is very crispy and delicious. You can serve with evening snacks as well as serve in breakfast with puri. It is very famous dish of UP and Bihar. I like this veggie a lot with plain paratha. You can served this dal-chawal and chapattis, it is very yummy and healthy dish.

Ingredients–
3-4 kachcha kela /Raw Plantain
½ tspn methi Seeds
1/2 tespn turmeric powder
1 tespn lal mirch powder
3-4 crushed Garlic and green chili or paste
2 tespn mustard paste or powder
½ tspn amchoor powder
Salt – to taste
Oil 3-4 tbspn ( I prefer mustard Oil)
Method–
- Wash, peel and chop raw bananas like in picture.
Make paste of rai (mustard) and garlic and green chilli in grinder, or you can use mustard powder and crushed garlic and chiili.
Take a pan heat 1 tspn oil and add chopped banana and sauté for 1-2 min on low flame, remove fry banana in a plate and keep aside.
Take a same Pan and 2 tbspn heat oil, add methi seeds and let cracker now add mustard paste and sauté for a seconds.
After that add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and amchoor powder.
Sprinkle some water and sauté all masalas for a 2 min.When once masala leave oil in a pan then add fry banana and sprinkle some water and mix well and sauté for 4-5 min or till bananas become crispy on low flame.
When sabji is ready then garnish with soya leaves or coriander leaves and serve.
You can serve in breakfast with puri, or serve with dal-chawal in lunch.
Note- You can make this sabji with gravy just add 1 cup of water or as your required of gravy, and serve with steamed Rice.
