Dudhi or lauki sabzi is an easy and slightly spiced version of lauki sabzi. Lauki is also known bottolm guard. some other Indian languages lauki is known as ghiya, dudhi, sorakaya, sorakkai etc. It is one of the healthiest vegetables and is excellent to have during summer.



This lauki ki sabzi is a staple at my home. This is a very homely recipe and is the like the food which we cook once a week. Making this lauki sabzi also does not take time and gets done quickly.
Today I am going to share lauki ka do pyaja it is very delicious curry. And you can pair this chapatti, rice, paratha or poori. This is very easy and quick recipe.

Ingredients-
Ghiya or lauki 1 piece.
2 small size potato
1 tbspn whole dhaniya
½ tspn jeera
2-3 whole red chilli
1 tspn black pepper
½ haldi powder
½ Kashmiri red chilli powder
2 tspn mustard oil
1-2 bay leaf
Method-
Take ghiya or lauki wash peel and cut in to small pieces.
Take potato wash peel and cut into pieces.
Take cooker and add 2 tbsp. oil heat and add jeera, red chili,black pepper, cardemom and add chopped onion, let it cooked.




Take pan add jeera, coriander seeds, black pepper roast 2 min.


When spices cool down add in grinder and make coarsely powder.
When onion comes translucent add chopped ghiya and potato sauté 3-4 min.


After that add grounded masala, haldi powder, Kashmiri red chili powder salt to taste and sauté 2 min more.




Add 1 cup of water and mix well cook 2-3 whistle.


Lauki do pyaja is ready to serve.



Serve with rice, or chapatti, paratha or poori.
