Moong dal dosa are crispy crepes made from whole moong dal or split yellow moong dal batter, These are very healthy dish and add in your breakfast. It is very easy to make recipe and very famous breakfast in Andhra Pradesh. You can make this plain dosa or stuff with peas and potato stuffing or only potato stuffing.
It is very easy to make just soak a dal and grind them and make a better, no need of fermentation the better, can use directly after grinding.
The dosa made with yellow moog dal has a texture similar to the North Indian Moong dal chilla.
This dosa can be served any type of green chutney or coconut chutney.
Preparation Time- 10 min after soaking dal
Cooking Time- 20-30 min.

Ingredients-
2 cup split moog dal
½ cup rice flour (optional)
½ tspn ginger chopped
2-3 green chili
1 tbspn chopped coriander leaves
1 pinch hing
½ tspn turmeric powder
Oil for roasting
Salt to taste
For stuffing or topping
2 boiled and mashed potato
1 tbspn chopped onion
2-3 chopped green chilli
1/3 zeera
1/3 saunf
1 tbspn chopped coriander leaves
1/3 tspn turmeric powder
½ tspn red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Method-
How to prepare dosa better-
Firstly rinse the moog dal and soaked over night or 5-6 hr.
Next day drained dal in water and add in mixer grinder add ginger, green chilli, hing and salt and add some water and make a fine and smooth better.
Remove the better in a bowl.
Add ½ cup of rice flour and dhaniya ki patti and mix well, the consistency should be similar to a dosa better.
How to prepare stuffing-
Take a pan or oak add some oil and add jeera and sauf let the crackles .
After that add green chili chopped onion and sauté for a min.
Add salt turmeric powder, jeera powder and red chilli powder and sauté for a sec.
Now add mashed potato and mix well. Sauté for a min and add chopedd coriander leaves and off the flame and keep a side.
How to preapare dosa –
Take a heavy bottom pan or tawa heat and add 1 spn oil.
With the ladle , pour the dosa better on the tawa and spread with ladle the moong dal better in to a round shape.
Pour the some oil on the sides and the center of the dosa.
Spread the potao mixture and fold the dosa from one side.
Flip the cook both sides a couple of time till crisp and browned.
Now dosa is ready for serve, serve hot with coconut chutney or any type of green chutney or tomato ketchup.
