Raita is my best friend in summer. Raita recipes that you can include in your diet to keep your body cool and refreshed. But todays very special raita it is Raw Mango Raita. This Raita recipe uses raw mangoes. The typical South Indian raita is one that you can enjoy with rice and samber. This raita is very quick and easy recipe. You can enjoy surely in your lunch or dinner.

Cousin- South Indian
- Raw mango one and cut in cubed
- Freshly grated coconut 2 tbsp
- Green chili 2 chopped
- Fresh curd 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Sugar 1 tsp
- To Temper:
- Oil 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds 1 tsp
- jeera ½ tsp
- Curry leaves 1 sprig
- Hing a small pinch (optional)
In a blender grind raw mango, coconut, green chili and 1 tablespoon yogurt to a fine paste.
Whisk the remaining yogurt until smooth.
Add the ground paste along with salt and sugar.
Add coriander and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan.
Pop the mustard and immediately tip in the jeera, curry leaves and hing.
Once the ingredients begins to brown, add this to the raita and mix well.
Serve with rice and sambar
