specially use in fasting. It is quick energy booster during fast or vrat. Today I am going to share with you my Sabodana recipe for fasting, It is Sabudana soup or sago soup. It is wonderful soup and easy to make and less time consumed healthy dish.
Cooking Time- 10 mn.
Preparation Time- 5 min.
Serve- 2 person
Ingredients-
1 cup sabodana (soaked)
1 tspn desi ghee or pea nut oil
2-3 green chilli chopped
½ tspn chopped ginger
½ tspn jeera
½ tspn roasted jeera powder
½ red chilli powder (optional)
1 medium size copped potato
2 medium chopped tomato
Rock salt or vrat wala namak
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method-
Soak the sabodana or sago 2 hrs before cooking to adding equal portion of water.
Take pan heat and add ghee or peanuts oil and add jeera and let splutter.
Now add chopped green chilli, ginger and sauté for seconds.
Add chopped potato and sauté 1 min.
Add chopped tomato, jeera powder, red chilli powder, chopped coriander leaves and rock salt sauté well.
Add soaked sabodana and sauté for 1 min.
Now add 2 cup of water mix and cover the lid and cook for 5 to 6 min.
Soup is ready for serve take out in serving bowl garnish with dhaniya and serve hot.
