Soya Chunk Cutlet –
Soya Cutlet is good for health and especially for kids. It contains rich in fiber and protein. This is easy cutlet recipe using soya chunks and potatoes. Soya Chunks Cutlets is very attractive and delicious recipe. This Cutlets is very easy to prepare. You can serve in kids lunch box also.
Ingradients-
Dry Soya Chunk or granule (Grind)
Potato – 1 large Cooked
Cornflour – 2 tblspn
Maida – 2 tblspn
Onion -1 chopped finely
Ginger Garlic Paste -1 tblspn
Chilli Powder -1 tsp
Chopped green chilly
cumin powder 1tspn
chat masala 1 tspn
Salt to taste
Oil- for frying
Coriander Leaves chopped
Method:
Take hot water and soak the soya chumk or granule.
Cover with a lid and let it rest for 15 mins by which time the soya must have doubled in size.
Now drain the water and rinse cold water. Squeeze off the excess water with your hands and grind them coarsely.
Now Cook the potatoes and mash them as well. Put grind chunks and potato in a mixing bowl and mix properly.
Take a bowl add grind soya chunk, mashed potato, chat masala, roasted cumin powder, green chilli, red chilli powder, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, salt and corender leaves, and mix propely.
Now add corn flour and maida and mix well if mixture has moisture then you can add mor corn flour and maida. Mix well.
Take small portion out of it and form into round cutlet . Arrange it in a plate and put it in the fridge for 15 mins if you like.
Heat oil for pan frying, you could deep fry as well. Put the cutlet in oil and fry on both sides till golden brown.
Remove to a paper towel and serve with ketchup or any green chutney.
I always prefer to serve soya cutlet with pudina and carry chutney.
Note- You can add more vegetable in this cutlet and I always prefer to roasting if you want you can also roast otherwise you can deep fry.
